Our Mission Statement
Marvelous Grace Girls Academy is committed to provide a safe environment in which a girl can find a place of refuge in. MGGA is a true “City of Refuge” from the sinful decadence of today. Here a girl can relax and enjoy her Girlhood.
We wish to help in her Scholastic achievements by providing quality education.
In addition to Scholastic Studies, the girls can take part in the Spiritual Atmosphere of MGGA, while we provide ample opportunities for worship of our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.Lastly, we aid in their Social Developments with learning how to deal with personal issues, as well as working out life problems as a whole.
Marvelous Grace Girls Academy will provide a Safe, Secure, Stable, Structured, Spiritual, and Sweet Atmosphere for girls who struggle with themselves, and others who love her.
Overview of MGGA
The Marvelous Grace Girls Academy is a minimum 12 Month Program that incorporates Bible teaching, character training and respect for family.
- A part broken off; a piece separated from anything by breaking.
- A part separated from the rest; an imperfect part; as fragments of ancient writings.
- A small detached portion; as fragments of time.
We help girls, whose lives have been broken off, separated from family, even while living in their own home. We wish to gather up the fragments that remain that nothing be lost! (John 6:12).
We offer 24 hour watch care, and teach them how to obey authority, complete chores with good attitudes and complete all they do to the best of their abilities all to the glory of God, The Father ( Colossians 3:23, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”)
The Girls will learn how to cook, clean, sew and importance of being a Young Lady, and future Wife and Mother.
We remind ourselves daily to look at each girl as a special creation of God. An Original! Created by God for a purpose. (Proverbs 31:10 , “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”)
We accept the girl where she is, not where she ought to be.
(2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”)
We lead the girls in Scripture memorization (Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”)
We train the girls in singing and making melody in hearts (Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”)
Many issues will be addressed during their stay. Everything from dealing with anger, bitterness, rebellion, forgiveness, empathy, to Breaking the chains of drugs, alcohol and problems that surround their addiction. We keep the girls busy with the A.C.E. Curriculum School on the property, exercise, chores, and lots of fun!
Stages To Expect
Stage One: During the first four-six months, most girls will put on an act.
- They will either pretend that they are obedient and submissive, and have no problems. They will try to make you, their parents, appear to have the problems, not themselves.
- They will act as if they are so out of control that no one can help them, that we shouldn't even try.
Stage Two: Once they become acclimated to MGGA, they begin seeing other girls who came in with troubles and problems and are being helped of Christ and MGGA. This is when they begin making a decision of either receiving help, or rejecting the help.
Stage Three: No matter what decision they made in Stage Two, they now see the better life of stress free living, making best choices are rewarded and the families of the girls who make best choices are happy and ready to receive their daughter back home.
Those who once rejected help are now faced with living testimonies of the beautiful life being lived by ones who once rejected, but now are accepting.
Stage Four: It is time to receive your daughter back into your home, or perhaps you wish to inquire a longer stay at MGGA.
